AN ORIGINAL ADAPTATION IN A FEW FIGURES

Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday, from September 2022 to the end of April 2023, Le Bon Marché would transform and transport you back to the 19th century to experience Paris under the Second Empire in the presence of emblematic characters from Emile Zola's famous novel The Ladies’ Delight.

64 SOLD-OUT PERFORMANCES

Over 16,000 SPECTATORS won over

30 ACTORS AND PERFORMERS

30 STAGE TECHNICIANS every evening on site

3000 m2 of sets and decor

BREAK "THE FOURTH WALL"

Here, no stage or seated places (remember to put on comfortable shoes) : the plot extends over an entire floor of the Bon Marché, lit and decorated for the occasion.

Incognito behind your mask, let yourself be guided by the actors and apprehend your own experience. You are completely free. Free to follow any character, free to linger on the set of a scene, free to soak up the incredible scenery. Unlike your traditional play, «Au Bonheur des Dames» offers a narrative that is not linear but 360°. An extraordinary artistic feat, since the thirty actors involved play continuously for nearly three hours. Although it is impossible to witness every single scene, there lies the magic and beauty of the experience.
